The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it can be alarmed with regard to the higher quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at status sassa Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The company place designed for intervention encounters a higher influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to help the servicing of all prospects and raise access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
